It is much easier now to develop PC kinect applications.
Kinect -> USB connector.
As small as can be. From one side you connect the Kinect plug, from the other a common USB cable (or you connect it directly to the PC USB port). You connect a 12V (1Amp) AC/DC adapter to the power socket, and you’re done.
